American River Parkway Plan and Financial Needs Study

Adopted in 1962 and revised in 1985, the plan is currently being updated. For more information about the process, visit the County of Sacramento Department of Planning and Community Development . More information is available on the Integrated Area Planning for Discovery/Tiscornia, Woodlake and Cal Expo as part of the American River Parkway Plan update.
The 2006 report reviews and updates the established benchmarks, reviews unmet funding needs, identifies new funding needs and possible funding alternatives.
This study was commissioned by the American River Parkway Funding Group to restore the values of the Parkway.
