The range of activities at our three regional parks can keep you busy 365 days per year. Watch a re-enactment of a Civil War battle. Dance the night away at the annual Strauss Festival. Explore the pristine vernal pools as they come to life. All of these and more are waiting for you to discover at our Regional Parks.

Elk Grove Park

Elk Grove Park, located in Elk Grove near Florin Road, is where recreation and culture intersect. For the sports-minded, softball, baseball and soccer fields are ready for action. Concerts and other special events take place on Strauss Island and in the Pavilion throughout the year.

Gibson Ranch

Gibson Ranch, located off of North Watt Avenue at Elverta Road, is truly a working ranch, and it has activities like no other area park. It's a popular destination for school kids, history buffs and fishing enthusiasts. The horse trails are among the best in Sacramento.

Mather Regional Park

Pack up your clubs for a challenging 18 holes, or bring your camera for once-in-a-lifetime vernal pool views. Mather Regional Park, located off of Hwy. 50 near Mather Field, is the newest of Sacramento County's regional parks.
