  Park n’ Ride Event
Ride to work along the American River Parkway and park for free on Thursday, May 15!

Parking fees will be waived at four entrances to the American River Parkway. Each entrance offers access and secure parking for cyclists:
 
  • Lower Sunrise
  • Sacramento Bar
  • William B. Pond Recreation Area
  • River Bend Park (formerly Goethe Park)
     

Directions to the locations can be found on the American River Parkway Map.

Participants can pick up coffee, juice and bagels at energizer stations at the four entrances. The 2008/2009 PASSPORT Annual Parks Pass will be available and purchasers can register to win a free Trek 7000 bicycle courtesy Bicycles Plus in Folsom.


The 6 to 10:00 a.m. event is aimed at supporting the annual Bike to Work Day and kicking off the promotion season for the PASSPORT Annual Parks Pass.
