Using our Picnic Services, Catering and Equipment

Sacramento County Parks offers a wide range of services to help your picnic or event become the talk of the town. With all we have to offer, you can do as much or as little as you want. Bring in your own food, ice, sports equipment and entertainment, or pick from our comprehensive list, including onsite catering!

Picnic Services

Choose from a wide variety of carnival games, pony rides, rock climbing walls and bounce houses for your next party. Let professional magicians, clowns or disc jockeys provide the entertainment. Invite Winnie the Pooh, Batman or other costumed characters to greet the kids. We’ll even send over a clean up crew if you want to make it a complete no-hassle day. Catering

Whether you’re feeding 50 people or 500, we can take care of all the cooking for your event. We can drop off prepared meals, or bring the BBQ onsite and cook everything from burgers and hot dogs to ribs and chicken. We have all the side dishes, desserts and drinks on hand, too. Need ice, plates, cups and utensils? We can handle all of those and more. Prices vary according to menu and number of guests.

Equipment

Volleyball, softball, horseshoes or croquet – we’ve got all the equipment you need and will bring it to your site, handle set up and pick up, too. Please note that if you are using a public address system, a separate Amplified Sound Permit is required.
