Program Services

Our goal is for each individual to attain his or her highest level of independence through leisure activities. Whether learning to cook, or exploring the city on a bus, activities are geared to increasing confidence and independence through fun. In addition to our center on Florin road, we provide programs at community centers, schools, parks, and other community sites.

Programs and services include:

• Social Clubs
• Travel Excursions
• Sports, Fitness, & Outdoor Adventures
• Vocational Training
• Classes -cooking, drafts, drama and more
• Special Events
• Community Outreach
• Therapeutic Recreation Internships
• Information & Referral

Programs participants learn how to:

• Communicate and socialize more effectively with others
• Make appropriate choices
• Organize leisure time
• Develop life skills such as money management and budgeting
• Find and use community resources

Fees

Fees are kept to a minimum and vary from event to event.
